Trade on Other DApps

*If Pockie is set as the main wallet, you can skip steps 0 to 2 (if you haven't changed the settings, Pockie is set as the main wallet).

0. Please click Home > the “Settings” button at the top right on Pockie

1. Within the Settings category, click on the "Set as main wallet" menu

2. Activate the "Set Pockie as main wallet" button

3. In the DApp, click on "Connect Wallet" > "MetaMask" and then click on "Connect" on Pockie

4. After entering the spending limit for the token you will pay, click on the "Continue" button

The process is only carried out when there is no record of permission for using tokens in the protocol you use to trade.

Step 4 to 5 is the process where the protocol obtains permission to use your token in the transaction. Permission is granted for the amount entered, and will only ask again once that amount of tokens have been used.

The spending limit is set only for the displayed DApp.

💡TIP

Clicking the "Use site suggestion" button automatically inputs the amount suggested by the DApp as the limit. Alternatively, clicking the "Max" button automatically inputs the balance for that token as the limit.

5. After confirming the spending limit, click on the "Approve" button

Every time token usage on a specific network is permitted, there is a fee associated with network usage.

💡TIP

Clicking the "Adjust" button allows you to modify the fee. You can increase the fee to speed up the approval process, or you can decrease it to save fees even if the process is slower.

6. Once approval is complete, the DApp will display buttons for the next steps, such as Swap/Bridge/Confirm. Click on the relevant button, then click on "Trade" on Pockie

This is the process where the DApp obtains permission to proceed with the transaction. Clicking the ‘Link’ button provides detailed information about the DApp.

Every time you swap tokens on a specific network or bridge networks, there is a fee associated with network usage.

💡TIP

Clicking the "Adjust" button allows you to modify the fee. You can increase the fee to speed up the transaction, or you can decrease it to save fees even if the transaction is slower.
