# Deposit Bitcoin

This page will handle everything about the 'Bitcoin Savings' product.&#x20;

Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency with a fixed total issuance amount. In South Korea, it can be purchased in centralized exchanges such as Bithumb, Upbit and more, as well as foreign centralized exchanges such as Binance, Bybit, OKX etc. How a comprehensive guide on how a 3% annual return on the bitcoin you have deposited will be shown below.

### 1. Connect Wallet <a href="#id-1" id="id-1"></a>

Click the \[<mark style="color:blue;">Conenct Wallet</mark>] button to connect your Web3 wallet. Any wallet extension such as Pockie, Metamask, or Rabby will work. Follow the instructions for each wallet to prepare your wallet, then connect it to BTCFi boost.

Click the \[<mark style="color:blue;">Add · Remove</mark>] button to get redirected to the BTCFi Boost product page.

Upon entering, you will see a guide that briefly explains the product. Read it carefully and click the \[<mark style="color:blue;">Proceed</mark>] button to start the Bitcoin deposit process.

## 3. Bitcoin Deposit

Now comes the actual deposit process. Follow the steps carefully!

### 1. Enter Refund Address

First, enter your Bitcoin refund address. You can enter the Bitcoin deposit address of your personal wallet that supports Bitcoin such as Pockie, or the Bitcoin deposit address of your exchange account. If the Bitcoin transaction fails, the refund will be sent to that adress. After entering the address, click the \[<mark style="color:blue;">Next</mark>] button.

### 2. Issuing a Bitcoin Address

When you enter your refund address, a bitcoin transfer address linked 1:1 to that address will be issued. Please wait a moment for the Bitcoin transfer address to be generated.

### 3. Sending Bitcoin

Transfer bitcoin to the address provided. Be sure to send it via the Bitcoin network. This address is a Bitcoin transfer addressed linked 1:1 to the user's refund address. After the transfer, it will be deposited through the BRP-20 network procedure, where multiple validators on the Bifrost network sign off the transaction as valid. After the transfer, click the \[<mark style="color:blue;">Next</mark>] button.

After sending Bitcoin, it takes about 40 minutes for the deposit to be confirmed via the BRP network. ou can check how many confirmations have been made on the actual Bitcoin network by chicking the \[<mark style="color:blue;">View Transaction</mark>] button. You can leave this screen and return later, so feel free to do other work. You can return to the home screen by clicking the \[<mark style="color:blue;">Home</mark>] button.

If you are redirected to the home screen while the transfer is in progress, you can return to the previous screen by clicking the \[<mark style="color:blue;">View Progress</mark>] button.

### 4. Bitcoin Deposit Complete

The deposit will be completed in about 40 minutes. When you click the \[<mark style="color:blue;">Confirm</mark>] button on the completion pop-up, you will be taken to the home screen, where you can check your deposited Bitcoin.
